Here's a Snapshot of almost every moment of my day.
7ish: Wake up, groggily...
7:30am - Everyone heads off to School and Work. The kids get free breakfast at school & I packed a breakfast and a coffee for Randy.
I usually make a fried egg sandwich on toasted bread, mayo and sometimes a slice of cheddar cheese. Other days it's a bowl of cereal.
The only accommodations I use in the kitchen are bright lighting & contrasting color cutting boards. For more ideas check out my Youtube video.
9am - Time for my first dose of Anti-Rejection Meds for my Kidney
I use Windows built-in Magnifier to enlarge the screen as well as a Large inverted Mouse pointer for working on the computer.
I love listening to music. Pandora or my playlist is usually playing while I'm working on the laptop.
I can tell that the music is good & the voice is good, but don't have speech recognition to understand the lyrics. Sometimes I memorize the lyrics to my favorite ones and I use Musixmatch for displaying lyrics for songs on my playlist.
Sometimes I bake treats and desserts. Check out this recipe for Carrot Cake Cookies.
Some days I have an online Sign Language session to do. Check out SignOn CPR.
(Next week I start training for a new part-time job as a Bank Teller. So my hours will change and be working afternoons and early evenings.)
4pm - 8pm Depends on the day of the week and what extra-curricular activity they're doing that night. Twice a week the kids have Marching Band practice so dinner doesn't happen til 8pm. Other nights the kids come home around 4pm. I start dinner to be ready around 5:30. Randy comes home around 5pm, if he's not teaching a night class. If he's teaching a night class, he's not home until 8.
I sit about 3 feet away from the TV (off to the side so I don't block anyone else)
Late night I head to the bedroom with my iPad and decompress. I listen to music and read Kindle, watch Netflix, or goof off on Social Media (with music playing of course).
