Day 6 is about Social Self-Care
Things you should do to take care of your social life:
1. Write a Thank You Note
Write a simple note to a friend, co-worker, etc. thanking them for an outing, a phone call, or whatever social event you attended together.
2. Check in on Social Media
Let your friends know how you're doing today and strike up a conversation with anyone who responds. Be sure to comment on others statuses too.
3. Write a Letter
This may be "out-dated" but it would mean a lot to the receiver. Just a little letter saying you thought of them today and wondered how they're doing can go a long way for both of yours social health.
4. Suggest a Gathering
Something simple as a coffee cafe meet-up before work with co-workers can uplift everyone's social and mental health before the long work day ahead.
5. Set up a Date
A simple date with your partner to get away from the grind of the schedule will refresh the both of you.
6. Play Board Games with Friends
Nothing like a fun and different social gathering to perk up old and new friendships. (Just keep it easy though, no fighting over Monopoly).
7. Call a Loved One
Remember not everyone is tech savvy and are on social media, so pick up the phone and check in on a relative or two.
8. Take a Walk with a Friend
Just a leisurely stroll around the block to chat is a great way to stay socially healthy as well as physically healthy.
9. Take a Coffee Break
Take a coffee break for yourself, meet someone new at a cafe, or invite a friend.
10. Don't forget about Meetup
Try out a new meetup place and meet a new social circle.
